Business Broker/Merger & Acquisition Position
Zoellner, Garten & Company is seeking one or more qualified individuals to join our firm. Our business is representing business Owners that wish to sell their businesses, and representing buyers of businesses. We also provide Business Appraisals/Valuations, Machinery & Equipment Appraisals, and Consulting Services in the areas of Business Planning and Financial matters.
Duties & Responsibilities:
It’s a People Contact position – personality required! Success comes from finding prospects – business owners and prospective business owners – and guiding them through the process of selling, buying, or appraising a business.
There are Technical aspects of the position. We deal with Operational, Marketing, Legal, and Accounting issues – not as experts, but as problem solvers. We do not always have answers but will find them to assist and protect our clients.
It’s a Detail business – following up with buyers, sellers, and all contacts works!
Skills Required: Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
General Business Knowledge
Finance/Accounting familiarity helpful
Above Average Written & Oral Communication Skills
The WILLINGNESS and ability to phone and meet individuals, engage in
conversations, and extract information.
The ability to think quickly and react accordingly. Must be a Self Starter –
able to work in loosely structured environment.
Reports to: John W. Zoellner, President
Hours: Full time or part time will be considered. Must be available
Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm
Compensation: Compensation in the industry is usually based on Revenue produced. Zoellner, Garten & Company is
flexible and willing to consider any reasonable structure.
